We want the company fleet to run on environmentally friendly fuels and all employees who drive vehicles in the company, including those who drive heavy machinery, have received training in eco-driving.
We now have two electric cars and are evaluating how it works in our operations. Our cars move in a limited area, which makes electric power suitable, while we often need to carry a trailer or a lift for work at height, which so far makes electric cars less suitable.
One of our tenants is Fordonsgas in Rollsbo, where we refuel our three gas cars.
We run both cars and heavy vehicles on fossil-free diesel, HVO100 (HVO100 consists of 100% renewable and fossil-free diesel with lubricating additives).
To reduce unnecessary journeys, we refuel, wash and inspect our vehicles in Rollsbo. In addition, we store and change tyres ourselves and service and repair our vehicles. By running friction tyres on suitable vehicles, we further reduce our use of fossil fuel.
To provide an extra service to those of our tenants who drive electric cars, we have started to install charging posts around our areas.
